It’s Art Week again in Turin. The lights spread all around the city center for the Christmas period and conceived by contemporary artists have been already switched on and, in less than 48 hours, Artissima, The Others, Paratissima will open their doors to visitors.

Renowned for its elegant architecture, majestic squares, and the iconic Mole Antonelliana, the city exudes a timeless charm. Turin is also a cultural hub, home to world-class museums, such as the Egyptian Museum and the National Cinema Museum. Autumn in Turin brings the highly anticipated International Art Week, a vibrant celebration of contemporary art and creativity. During this annual event, art enthusiasts and visitors flock to the city to witness captivating exhibitions, innovative installations, and thought-provoking performances. Embracing art in all its forms, Turin’s Art Week is an unmissable experience that adds an extra layer of allure to this enchanting Italian destination.
A particular exhibition
Year after year, the week with a contemporary art fair has transformed itself and the city with thousands of events located in a former prison, former factories, art galleries, private homes, and hotels but I’ve never heard about a supermarket.
Curated by Antonio d’Amico, the Carrefour supermarket in Corso Belgio will host 6 internationally renowned artists, among which the sculptors Bertozzi and Casoni. The idea behind the project is to turn a supermarket into a place for art. I bet Andy Warhol would have been delighted!
From Thursday, 5th November, until Sunday, 8th, you will have the possibility to visit the exhibition and take advantage of the place for some shopping with a 10% discount. All you have to do is to print the coupons below and show them at the cashier. There will also be a Martini Barman to welcome you.
